Who was the first aircraft passenger?

The Wright Brothers made the first powered flight on 17th December 1903. It wasn't until 14th of May 1908 however until someone plucked up the courage to be the first passenger. When a Lieutenant Frank P Lahm was taken on a flight by Wilbur that lasted all of 6 minutes 24 seconds.

Unfortunately not long after in September 1908 the first aircraft passenger fatality occurred when Lieutenant Thomas Selfridge was killed while on a flight piloted by Orville, who survived the incident.

PS. Even after the death it didn't prevent the brothers getting their first order from the US Government a year later, selling a Wright Brothers Bi-Plane for 25,000 US$ plus a bonus of 5,000 US$ because the aircraft exceeded 40 mph.
